We had a very good shopping and delivery experience. The sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly and did not push us into any one item. Good selection and reasonable pricing. I hadn't originally considered McKinnon for a furniture purchase, but after I saw their billboard on I-95 south (just north of the 207 exit), I figured I'd check them out, and even though I'm an hour north of them (Jacksonville), I'm so glad I did! A truly impressive selection of furniture (indoor and out) for all rooms and budgets, friendly and knowledgeable no-pressure salespeople, and competitive prices, including special order and delivery options. The new owners are super-friendly and have a great sense of humor. As it so happens, I was getting ready to do a complete kitchen remodel, and unbeknownst to me, they also carry a wide selection of flooring and tile, both of which will adorn my new kitchen! Going forward, these guys are my furniture go-to! Even if you don't live close, I encourage you to check them out!

I have a small, odd shaped TV room and out of curiosity stopped at McKinnon’s to see what I could find. Don was welcoming, listened to my dilemma and showed me a few things that might work. He was quite knowledgeable and not at all pushy. I had a fun conversation with Tom and was quite impressed with both of them. Go Huskies!

Donald Fries greeted us when we walked into the store, then asked what we were interested in, then he took his time, patiently showing us what was available that would fit what we were interested in finding. He answered all of our questions skillfully from his many years of experience and knowledge. He "knows his stuff" and is a good listener. He did not waste our time on things outside our specific interest. We appreciated his professionalism and fun personality. We ended up ordering a Flexsteel Lindon leather power reclining loveseat with adjustable lumbar and neck support-- at a fair price. The showroom is well stocked with quality furniture. If you shop there, Don is your guy.
