This was my first shopping experience with Stanton appliances and was very impressed with the ease of purchasing appliances and delivery. Cooper was very patient and answered all my questions concerning the appliances I was interested in purchasing. The delivery team was excellent as well. FIND SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT YEARS OF CUSTOMER LOYALTY!

After YEARS of loyalty to Stanton's in Baton Rouge and so much money spent on appliances, no longer will we give them another dime.
We have had the same problems with the refrigerator (lights either blinking or not working at all.) 3 times someone came out (two of 3 had to pay service fee) 3rd time parts were changed for hundreds of dollars only for less than 6 months later ALL lights are out again.
We were told a new control panel was placed in but then told otherwise.

Called manager, Sonya, who took my problem so unprofessionally. Raised her voice and proved that loyalty doesn't matter AT ALL and the customer is actually NEVER right (even though check book says otherwise).

Will now be taking both our loyalty and our checkbook somewhere else.

AVOID!!!

Great experience buying my Speed Queen TC5 washing machine here. Me and the fam took a week vacation, but right before we left our washing machine gave completely out. While out of town they answered my phone calls consistently and patiently answered a bunch of technical questions I threw at them. When I decided to move forward on the purchase they worked with me to deliver and install it while we were away. And so it was, when we returned our new washing machine was ready for use!

I need to amend my review that I made yesterday. I have a philosophy that I want to have upstanding people to back up the product that I buy. I jumped the gun and put in a bad review before I did my part of the work to talk to managers. Today I spoke with her and she accepted everything I thought was fair and helped me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer has agreed the fault is in the whirlpool refrigerator and is willing to pay parts and labor. The service guy was calm and helpful. In fact they all behaved in a stellar manner even though they knew I wrote a bad review. Making their behavior much better than my own. I deeply and sincerely apologize for my rash action on my review. In fact my philosophy stands all of the people involved in this action were able to stand and back their products making me very proud of them. Also I have bought many appliances from them and so has my mother and friends I referred to them. I am so happy that when my philosophy was put to the test it worked like it should. I just have to remember I have my own part in my philosophy.

We had to have our ice maker replaced 3 times in 3 months. They ended up only charging us the first time since it kept breaking (more of a mark of how cheaply things are made these days than anything else). We bought all of our appliances here for our new house and they gave us a discount because of it, which was nice. Overall it was a positive experience.

I have three appliances in my house that are not working properly. I called Stanton's Repair today - just the house call is $85 for the fridge + $40 for the dishwasher + $40 for the ice maker = $165 house call. Now mind you, I bought most of my appliances from Stanton's.

1. ice maker in my fridge (purchased at Stanton's and then I paid Stanton's to replace the ice maker (twice) before we moved into this house, and it has NEVER worked. The replacement part never worked).
2. standard ice maker (I understand that these consistently have issues, but it has NEVER worked since I bought it brand new, not one cube of ice). I have half a mind to throw it away and start over.
3. My dishwasher drawer unit is on the fritz because my son pushed the buttons so such that they are now sunken in and it's broken.

Am I crazy that $165 is too much to pay for someone to walk into my house? I'd gladly pay $1,000 to have all of these suckers working, but it feels like robbery to charge me just to walk into my home. How about a flat $85 fee? Why more for each additional appliance that you can earn money off of?

Glad to spend my money elsewhere.

I asked to speak with with someone else that I could explain how many times I've bought from Stanton's and had repairs done there, but I was given the standard line, "I am the manager." That's sad. Customer service should be first priority. There's no wonder there's so many terrible reviews.

If someone wants to reach out to me about making this right, I would love to discuss this.

Could not be less pleased with the vaunted Stanton's and their reputation for service. They offered nothing but costly, slow, stubborn service that would take weeks to fix the problem and cost as much as a new appliance.

Had a very nice Bosch dishwasher break not quite a half year out of warranty. It was not bottom of the barrel nor luxury, just middle of the road (~$900). I researched the error code and it was a common problem that could be readily fixed, even by a non-repairmen given enough time and the right parts.

I initially bought from Stanton's because of their reputation and I informed them of the situation. They were indifferent and recited how its $85 JUST FOR THEM TO COME OUT and see, no promise of anything but looking at it. I told them the code the dishwasher was throwing and maybe, just maybe they could be prepared for that being the problem. They repeated all they promised was charging me $85 just to come out. They were unwilling to do anything more than that and didn't seem to care.

Maybe the repairman was where this reputation for service came from. NOPE. Repairman was just as rude and indifferent as the folks answering the phone. The repairman said yep, that's the problem but he don't have the part and he'd have to order it. It take 2-3 weeks to obtain and cost at least $500. He could not answer why he didn't prepare for the code even though I had informed Stanton's when I requested a repairman nor why Stanton's wouldn't even have this common replacement part in stock.

However, it wasn't $85 for the repairman to bless us with his presence and ignorance. It was $105. He added on some bullmess charge.

So, please listen to me and the other people with negative reviews here. Stanton's doesn't care. They will sell you a flaky appliance that will cost as much to repair as to buy a new one. And when it breaks, WHEN not if mind you, they will nickel and dime you as much as possible.

I make it a point to support local businesses. I will even spend a bit more money if it means supporting local businesses and keeping tax money local. I will never again spend a dime at Stanton's. I encourage you to look elsewhere as they are just as bad as the big box stores.

Bought a new dishwasher from Sear's at the Mall of Louisiana. I'm following the advice of my plumber: basically, buy the cheapest appliance and ride it and maybe you luck out and it lasts a while. There's no loyalty or quality in the appliance game anymore. Find the best deal in your price range and cross your fingers.

It was so hard not to curse on this one. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

We bought a new refrigerator from Stanton's a few months ago, and the freezer section has been icing up. They have sent a repair man out THREE times to fix it, but to no avail. We have called to get a replacement refrigerator or refund, and all they want to to do is continue "TRYING" to fix it. I thought Stanton's had a reputation for good customer service, but I am finding out that it is not the case!!! I won't be purchasing any appliances from them in the future!!!
