Fantastic customer service yet again from Salisbury Gas and Electrical in Wesham. Our 18 year old fridge freezer finally gave up 3 or 4 days ago, and after a quick look on their website, and a visit the same day, we have had a new fridge freezer, delivered, and installed this morning.

Thanks to Paul who we dealt with in the showroom, and the 2 young guys who delivered and installed it this morning. Couldn't have asked for better service from anyone. 5 stars!

20 hours from 'The fridge is kaput to switching on the new one.
15 hours from sending an email inquiry to Salisburys to switching on the new one.
A staggering 4 hours 19 minutes from 'We think we can help' to switching on the new one.

Salisburys of Preston will be my goto when I am looking for equipment because they go above and beyond to look after their customers.
We arrived home on Sunday 15/9/2024 to find our fridge was kaput. I searched online to find a new one. Big names - delivery Wednesday and £30-£45. I searched on Euronics. They listed two suppliers. One, Salisburys of Preston, had the fridge I needed in stock and would deliver free of charge (!) on Tuesday.
Sunday, 15/9/2024, 11pm - I sent an email, explained my needs and asked if they could possibly deliver today, Monday, expressing my willingness to pay for the delivery.
Today, 16/9/2024, 9.20am, Paul from Salisburys called me. They had the fridge. He checked I was sure it was what I wanted (this involved much effort on their part to check if there was anything to show power usage per hour as opposed to power usage per annum) and said they would deliver it this afternoon.
Preston is 20 miles from where I am and he apologised for having to charge me £10 (!) for the special delivery.
Today, 16/9/2024, 1.39pm,the fridge was delivered to us.
I telephoned Salisburys to tell them how delighted I was with the fridge, the delivery and especially the way they had done their utmost to help me.
I paid the same price for the fridge as the bigger retailers were charging and I had it delivered for at least £20 less than the bigger retailers charged. More importantly, Salisburys were able and willing to make the extra effort to give me the fridge when I needed it.
Big stores can be very useful at times, but the smaller, local, family stores are able to give more personal service with a bit more leeway for going the extra mile.
In this instance, for me, Salisburys are top of the class.

Went for a replacement tumble dryer, and the salesperson gave the most comprehensive description of an number of models. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, and we raised out budget target to buy a better product. Far better warranty (5 years), and A+++ rating. We are doing our bit!

I purchased a Bosch Washing Machine on Monday of last week. The following day by 9.45am the washer was fitted by two great lads who were really polite and efficient. Can’t get better service than that. Shop at Salisburys a good reliable Company that you can trust.

The staff are very knowledgeable. We wanted to look at a modern t.v. as ours was quite a few years old. We left & having seen the improved picture quality and been taken through various functions that our old TV didn't have, to await delivery in 2 days of a great new 50'' TV! Sortedmàny thanks.

Amazing service, we purchased a fridge and a washing machine a month or so ago, they stored them for us and we were able to collect them easily. They helped into the van (which proved tricky!). Very glad to have used Salisburys than a big firm!

I ordered several Miele appliances from this store. Their service is above and beyond anything else I have ever experienced. If you think you could get your appliance a few pounds cheaper elsewhere, forget it.... ~The service they provide is outstanding from the sales team, to the delivery team, to the after sales. Highly recommended, thank you Sailbury's.
