We love our chair! Thank you so much to everyone at Rico's! Berenice was wonderful from the start. We had a poor experience with another upholstery shop and a few others never responded, but Berenice was prompt with her response, friendly, informative, and communication was great during the duration of the job. We were quick to get a consult date and Maryanne came out to our house with so many fabric options. She was patient and helpful throughout the process. She was just as invested as we were in making sure we got what we wanted. I think she was just as excited as we were once the chair was completed as well! This made for a fun experience! The work on the chair by Jese, Roy and Cesar is gorgeous! It is apparent that they take pride in their craft. They are extremely skilled! We highly recommend Rico's. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience!

While my sofa is reupholstered nicely it took seven months to get it back.
I was more than willing to understand the supply-chain difficulties but the lack of communication is unacceptable. I sent them over 20 emails, and numerous phone calls with no reply until I got very angry. After getting very upset they finally got the project completed and pretended to care.

The customer service is horrendous and continues to be. I emailed just the other day concerning some visible stitching that I was worried may be seams loosening. No reply in three days. update it is unraveling. $3000 wasted. I will not return to you to repair it.

I expect better out of a company.
If you don’t care about customer service and are willing to pay a lot of money for your reupholstery projects, by all means use this company.
Never again for this girl. Huge disappointment. They are totally unprofessional.

I've used Rico's twice- once for new grey cushions for a sofa built-in. They were pricey and it took awhile, but totally worth it. Cushions turned out beautifully with piping all around. Perfect! The fabric Patti suggested was spot on.

The second time we brought them a pretty BIG challenge... to recover our beloved UP5 chair. They had a hard time finding a fabric that would stretch enough and it took over two months, (we really wanted hot pink, but it was hard to find in 4-way stretch fabric) the delay was mainly due to the specialty fabric we needed. They reinforced the foam and now the chair is soft as ever and we just love it and will keep it forever. I would work them again anytime. Just know it will take a long time & it will not be cheap. But you will love your end result!! And with upholstery, you get what you pay for. These guys are talented and worth the wait. If you have a Gaetano Pesce UP5 chair, now they can do them!!

We needed our cushions restuffed with foam since the down feathers had sunk. Rico personally picked up the old and dropped off the new cushions and had great customer service. Our couch and chairs look and feel like new!

Rico’s does good business! I had a terrible visit to a different upholstery company prior to coming to Rico’s. I showed up feeling bummed and defeated, but my frown was changed to a smile after visiting Rico’s. A staff person greeted me at the door, huge shout out to Roy! He asked me what I needed help with immediately and began to assess to see how best to help me with my project. He went over fabric options and fabric pricing in depth. He asked if I needed any adjustments to the stuffing. He covered rough overall pricing, frame repair and webbing repair. Roy was polite and courteous and made sure to ask my preferences and other question about my project so that he could better assist me. Beyond all of that he was able to schedule a site visit to look at the piece to give me a more detailed quote. My visit to Rico’s put my mind at ease. I really appreciate this company’s responsiveness and courteousness towards its visitors. I can’t wait to get my couch recovered by them and will be following up with another review once the job is done.
